Sometimes when I'm cooking I get distracted by the food I see. For instance, I could just stare at this cut head of cabbage and try to follow the maze of red-violet to the place where a little ghostlike face appears... for moments on end.

Sometimes when I'm cooking I get distracted by the food I see. For instance, I could just stare at this cut head of cabbage and try to follow the maze of red-violet to the place where a little ghostlike face appears... for moments on end.

Exquisite! I love the fact that food can be so beautiful and mesmerizing. The best part is that in the end we get to eat it!
