Cotton Candy Tree

I'm not a nosy neighbor and yet I am drawn to the fence under the cedar trees to stare at the beauty of this smoke tree in the yard next door. In the morning it blooms cotton candy pink, but by late afternoon it deepens to a sultry maroon. (Well, maybe I'm a tad nosy)

  2. It is a wonderful sight and I'm tempted to sneak into my neighbor's yard and touch it and see if it is scented, but I respect their privacy as they are very conventional and well, I'm a bit of a kook.
