I remember well the memosa at my grandmothers house... I loved the sweet smell that enveloped it when it was in full bloom, and how the little pink puffs would glide through the air as the breeze blew.
~you are surround by such beauty that grows...beautiful tree...warm wishes and brightest blessings~
I always admired my neighbor's tree as a child and was thrilled when one grew up in my yard. Neighbors and friends said I should chop it down as it would crack my foundation and is just a messy garbage tree. My husband tried to chop it down three times and it just grew back more beautiful. For me it is a childhood wish fulfilled. Have a lovely day Mother Moon!
I am Faerwillow... but the gypsy in me wants to sell these surroundings for an extended tour across the country! I have photographed every inch of my yard and now it's time to move on. Wish me luck! Blessed be!
Another coincidence. I have just been writing a story featuring mimosa and its heady fragrance. After I discovered mimosa, I looked up to find a perfume with that scent in it. I found 'Amarige' by 'Givenchy' so I bought some. It's gorgeous. You have given us a perfect picture of this lovely tree, which the Chinese call 'the sleeping tree' because of its habit of closing up its leaves when the dusk comes. I would like to borrow the picture when I post my story. Is that possible, please?Blessings, Star
I would be honored for you to use my picture Star! So many coincidences going on with my blog friends. It's just terrific! Brightest blessings!
Perfect moment for the picture to be taken. Very nice.
Thanks Sumit! I thought if I aimed high I might get a bee, a butterfly, or a hummingbird. Cheers!
