I never knew that it was a process until this year... I wish I could grow them... my daughter has such beautiful bushes in Tennessee... The other day I saw the most magnificent pink one... a simply beautiful flower
This is one of the few bushes that I planted that the deer haven't eaten. Perhaps it was because I placed a statue of Tatiana, Queen of Fairies by their side. It is a magnificent bush and now their heavy majestic heads bow humbly to the Queen.
Very beautiful Wendilea, they are gorgeous and so long lasting. They have medicinal value as well and are beautiful dried for arrangements and such. I just love them! Thanks for sharing your beautiful Hydrangea
Thank you DancingFire. I did not know of their medicinal value... something further to explore

Yes it does! Wonderful simile Kelvin. Cheers!
What a mindboggling transformation. It makes me think where it all ends? How pretty it can really be in the end?
It's a good question chrome3d... all things age and decay but there is always something else blooming to distract one from this sad but natural progression... and the solace that with Nature's grace they will come back again.
