Black Eyed Susans

Summer would not be in full swing without the charms of the Black Eyed Susan. I love the wild look of them as they grow in big clusters. I was curious about their name and found they were named for a person within a poem. I've included a great little web page that includes the poem.

  1. I presumed they were sunflowers. I have some growing in my backyard. But, I get the title - Black Eyed Susans. Interesting!!!
