Backyard Wildlife

Backyard friends just want to be part of the celebration! Even when chased by our protective bulldog, they return. It's most tiring for poor old Betty dog.

  3. She's a sweetie Kelvin... one of my granddoggies! She can be very fierce chasing the wildlife, but she is somewhat afraid of my pet bunny, as he will ninja kick her in the face if she gets too chose.

    Good day to you!

  4. Lovely pictures Wendilea. Is that a groundhog I see at the start? It looks like a miniature capibara?

  5. Thanks Star! Yes, it is a groundhog and you're right it does look like a mini capibara. I had a favorite one at my former home that I named fatty boombalatty, and he let me get pretty close even though they are usually very skittish.

  6. There's just something about those rodents that I love. Don't ask me why. Perhaps it's the teeth? They are just so appealing.

  7. I love watching them chew... they really take their time enjoying their food! Especially when they are eating garden vegetables, which is why it is difficult to garden in these parts!
